They polished it and rounded the edges.   We Liquid Nails glued hardwood slates to the bottom of the counter top, then attached two <a href=\"https:\/\/a.co\/d\/cqqkaUU\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/a.co\/d\/cqqkaUU\">22 inch folding shelf brackets<\/a> capable of holding 330 pounds.
